Location

The rustic finca is situated at the foot of the picturesque village of Valldemossa. You can easily reach the finca by car. The airport is approximately 29 minutes away and the city of Palma is about 20 minutes away. The Finca thus offers excellent transport connections.


The Finca

The finca extends over two floors with an area
of approximately 120 sqm.
On the ground floor you will find the living room with a cosy fireplace and a guest WC. Adjacent is the fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils and a pantry.
On the upper floor you will find the master bedroom with its own bathroom, shower, WC and wardrobe. There is also another bedroom with two single beds and a room with a single bed. Another bathroom with WC is also located on this floor.

Good to Know

Valldemossa is located in the Tramuntana Mountains in the west of Mallorca, about 20 kilometres from the island capital Palma. The village is known for its beautiful mountain scenery and its historic buildings.

Culture & Festivals: Valldemossa is known for its traditional festivals and cultural events. Every year in July, the Feast of Saint Catalina Thomas takes place, where locals celebrate their patron saint with processions and traditional dances.

Charterhouse of Valldemossa: The most famous landmark of the village is the Charterhouse of Valldemossa (Real Cartuja de Valldemossa), a former monastery from the 14th century. The Charterhouse became famous through the stay of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and French writer George Sand in the winter of 1838/1839. Sand wrote about this stay in her book „A Winter in Mallorca“.

History: Valldemossa has a rich history, dating back to Moorish times. It was later taken over by Christian settlers and has since developed into a cultural and tourist centre.

Cuisine: Valldemossa offers a variety of restaurants and cafés, serving traditional Mallorcan cuisine. Particularly famous is the „Coca de Patata“, a sweet potato pastry that is often enjoyed with coffee.
